Sunday

Well 35 years ago today my hubby and I were married. Through good and bad times we have survived. I consider that a miracle these days. We live in a time of everything is discard-able. What is wrong with recycling? I believe some people are getting smarter and we will see more effort put forth to keep what is important to us. Sad day for all those who can not see this.

Maybe an ounce of common sense will go into choosing who one spends their life with.

How shameful that reality stars are put on a pedestal for wasting millions of dollars toward nothing more fame. Deceit in hiding ones self from the one you are supposed to love and respect, maybe will be recognized for what it is. Possibly sinful, criminal or shameful actions!

May all who suffer through this note be blessed with nothing but the best possible day they could have!!!!

Last month of 2011

Well this has been a stunner of a week. We lost such a wonderful man to depression and suicide.
Not near enough super things can be said about this gentleman who entered our lives through
television as a meteorologist. Don had a splendid comedic talent and a dark side dealing with depression that  not many saw. So very sad to see him go and we can not imagine the pain his family is dealing with now. Reach out to anyone you know who opens up about their depression and watch for the silent symptoms in others. Many individuals continue to believe depression is a sign of weakness. This simply is not true!!!!

Let us all care for our neighbors, friends, acquaintances and family.

Great day! Lots of fabric cut for new quilt.
Helped at Operation Breakthrough. Always
feels good to help someone in need. I have
always wanted to serve Thansgiving Day
dinner at one of the shelters (but have not
done that yet). I need to get on the ball and
volunteer at one.

I was reading a portion of Amanda Hocking's new book on her blog. I love her writing and am drawn to read more each time. If you have not read anything by this author, give her a try. She is a brilliant writer and I foresee a bright future for her!

Today feels like Fall! I absolutely love the 50's for temperature.

In the mood for Beef and vegetable soup tonight.

I have spent the day sorting some of my crafting goods.
Now I need to use them. I have been looking for detail needle-nose
pliers. May need to go to an electrical supply store.
